With the beginning of the New Year and after having spent lots of quality time with the family over the holidays, I felt inspired to breathe some fresh new life into this website we created to remember and honor Val’s legacy. So much has happened since March 11, 2013 and our family is slowly piecing back together our shattered hearts, realizing that Val’s spirit is the glue that continues to hold us together. We have been amazed by the outpouring of love and support we’ve received over the last year and a half, and by the stories we continue to hear about how Valerie’s legacy lives on. We will be using this site to share these stories more systematically so that anyone and everyone can know Valerie as we did and be inspired by her fearless, faithful life. We have added a lot of new content to the tabs in the main menu, showcasing many photos and stories from memorial services, special tributes and fundraising that has occurred. There is much much more to come, so we encourage to browse what’s here now and also subscribe to receive updates!
